Curtis Baker – Head of Inclusion & Employee Experience, Dow Asia Pacific
Curtis Baker is an Asia‑Pacific inclusion champion and culture shaper who thrives on helping people feel seen, valued, and excited to show up fully as themselves. As Dow’s Head of Inclusion & Employee Experience for Asia Pacific, Curtis partners across 13 countries spark meaningful culture change—amplifying regional voices globally and turning big ideas about inclusion into real, measurable impact for nearly 6,000 employees.
As part of the Office of Inclusion, his work blends strategy with humanity. Curtis brings together business leaders, ERGs, HR partners, and change champions to build environments where people not only work but truly belong. Under his leadership, ERG engagement has grown to over 70% in APAC, women’s leadership representation continues to rise, and employee experience initiatives have gained new momentum across the region. He also drives greater awareness and programming around mental health and wellbeing both inside and outside of Dow.
Before joining Dow, Curtis spent nearly eight years with The Walt Disney Company China across Talent Acquisition and Diversity & Inclusion, where he founded the Disney PRIDE ERG for China and Shanghai Disney Resort and helped embed DEI learning into the employee journey.
Curtis is a proud advisor to the International Professional Women’s Society (IPWS) and the Out & Equal APAC Council and has been recognized as a Top DEI Leader by sHero China and the 2023 HeForShe Award recipient from IPWS. He holds a B.A. in Public Relations and a Diversity & Inclusion for HR certification from Cornell University.
At his core, Curtis believes that inclusion is not an initiative—it’s a way of showing up for each other. His talks bring warmth, candor, and energy, inspiring audiences to move from awareness to action and to build workplaces where everyone can thrive. He enjoys traveling the region sipping tea, discovering local cuisines and being curious.
