Celebrates women making a measurable difference in their field or community. This award honors those driving social or business change through innovation, advocacy, and inclusive leadership.
Eligibility Requirements:
•Must be currently residing and working in China.
•Remote worker for a China-based company, with ongoing influence or
•Previously worked in China and co/founded a business that still operates here.
•Currently making an impact in their field or cause.
Nomination Requirements:
◾Impact & Contribution
•Measurable Results: Proof of lasting impact on a cause/community in China (e.g., improved lives, duration, funds raised, scaled level).
•Vision & Innovation: How they’ve challenged norms, redefined goals, or pioneered progress.
◾Leadership Competencies
•Thought Leadership: Smart, creative strategies that boost social or business results.
•Results Leadership: Turning vision into action with clear outcomes (e.g., increased reach, policy changes, revenue for social good).
•People Leadership: Building inclusive teams, fostering collaboration, and empowering others (especially women).
•Personal Leadership: Integrity, flexibility, and a lifelong learning mindset.
◾Commitment to Social Impact & Inclusion
•Advocacy for marginalized groups or underrepresented voices.
•Efforts to uplift women (e.g., mentorship, leadership opportunities, equitable policies).
•Built inclusive practices in their organization (e.g., diversity programs, accessible spaces).
Questions to keep in mind when nominating someone for Woman of Impact:
•How has the nominee’s work created measurable, lasting change for their cause or community?
•What innovative strategies have they used to challenge the status quo?
•How do they demonstrate dedication beyond professional role (e.g., pro bono work, volunteerism)?
•In what ways have they mentored women or fostered gender equity in their field?
•How does their organization/business model prioritize inclusivity and social responsibility?
