Thank You for an Incredible IPWS 2024–2025

As our Summer fades, we officially close out the IPWS 2024-2025 season.

While we quietly communicated our Board towards the end of 2024, I wanted to take a moment to spotlight these amazing women who brought this incredible year to life.

Looking back at some truly remarkable events and connections, this Board (along with our Advisors) worked tirelessly and with passion to CONNECT, GROW, LEAD and INSPIRE our community!

And for that I am truly thankful …

Throughout 32 years of history IPWS provides a platform where women come together to learn and support and cheer each other on. In 1993, one of our founders, Diane Long, began observing more color in the audience at different meetings or conferences, other than the typical black or navy blue. Diane saw the number of women growing. She started thinking “who are they? I want to know their stories. I want to meet them.”

And with that a community was born!

One thing IPWS strives for is to make sure that there is a space that people know they are not alone. And as a community, we can accomplish most anything when we do it together.

Starting with the IPWS leadership team, which consists of amazing and diverse women who all bring different strengths to the table. As a board, we have a common goal and passion for the community in Shanghai.

The IPWS board members serve for the period of a year starting in September. The board meets once per month to reflect on past initiatives, prepare upcoming events and manage collaborations.
