This March, in celebration of International Women’s Day, IPWS presents a four-part event series under the theme #InspireTogether, aligned with the UN International Women’s Day 2026 theme “Give To Gain.” We are honoured to have past IPWS Women Leadership Award winners host each session through expert-led workshops and shared insights, offering practical guidance on health, fitness, and personal and professional growth for women.

Ms Miriam Wickertsheim is a German national and holds a double degree in Asia Studies and Economics from Germany and Tsinghua University. She is the General Manager of Direct HR, one of China’s leading German-speaking recruitment firms covering China as well as SEA. She is a well-recognized senior leader in the HR Service industry and a frequent speaker at various prestigious organizations in China. She passionately supports the professional advancement of women through her mentoring opportunities and on the board of an NGO and she has written a book “Overcoming Superwoman Syndrome”.
