Meet the Team

Over its 32+ year history, IPWS has built a strong foundation of professional and transparent governance. The selection of new board members follows an open and inclusive process, welcoming any woman who wishes to contribute to the IPWS community.

We recommend applicants to first attend our events, meet our members, and connect with the community. Understanding the people who make up IPWS is an important step toward meaningfully supporting its growth and purpose.

Candidates apply formally via email, then participate in interviews with several board members, and are elected through a vote by current members. Board members serve a one-year term beginning in October, bringing their own expertise, experience, and networks to the community.

The board meets monthly to review past initiatives, plan upcoming events, and manage collaborations.
