#IAmRemarkable is a global movement that empowers everyone, including underrepresented groups, to celebrate their achievements in the workplace and beyond while challenging the social perception around self-promotion.
Imposter syndrome. Stereotypes. Culture. For many reasons, lots of us feel uncomfortable sharing our achievements. By amplifying stories and research on the transformative power of self-promotion, we want to inspire every single person to share their accomplishments. The 90-minute workshop is designed to help participants challenge their own views and empower them to start sharing their achievements with the world.
Objectives
▪Help participants become aware of stereotypes and biases against people of underrepresented groups who vocally express their achievements
▪Explore the challenges around self-promotion, such as ‘bragging’
▪Increase levels of self-efficacy for everyone attending
▪Encourage and utilize the potential of group sharing
▪Practice vocally expressing achievements
▪Create an inclusive and safe space where everyone feels comfortable sharing
