Each year, IPWS selects a theme that reflects where our community is and where we’re going. It gives us a shared focus, sparks meaningful conversations, and connects our events into one inspiring journey together.
Last season, our theme was “Courage.” We reminded ourselves to stay brave, focused, and steadfast as many members of our community made major life decisions in the post-pandemic era. This season, we build on that foundation with Inspire — not as a passive feeling, but as a leadership verb.
Inspire shows up in everyday leadership: the executive who illustrates why the work matters, the project lead who transforms stakeholder tension into collaboration through authenticity. Inspire doesn’t happen in isolation, however. It grows from presence — that is, being fully aware of yourself and the moment, while also projecting authority and clarity through your voice, gestures, and energy. Without presence, inspiration can feel forced or performative; with it, you create trust, engagement, and momentum.
Our Season Kickoff Thought Activator – “Inspiring Courage Through Reflection” will be facilitated by Marion Campan, PCC, Founder and Managing Director of INTANDID.
The world is moving faster than ever. The way we work, lead, and grow is changing. What once took years to evolve now shifts in weeks, sometimes days. In this landscape, success no longer depends on what we know , it depends on how we grow.
Growth today requires courage , the courage to act without guarantees, to learn in the unknown, and to stay inspired even when things feel unclear. For women, this courage often shows up differently: in speaking up, in taking space, in daring to try again.
This Thought Activator invites us to slow down and look within — to (re)frame how we see ourselves, (re)learn from our experiences, and (re)shape the beliefs that guide our actions. Together, we’ll explore how awareness and mindset can turn hesitation into strength, and uncertainty into possibility.
Guided Reflection & Group Dialogue
In small groups, you will reflect on key moments from your own journeys , revisiting a past challenge and your inner dialogue during both high and low moments. Together, we’ll surface where a fixed mindset may have held us back , and where a growth mindset helped us move forward.
Each group will identify one small but powerful action to nurture courage in daily life, at work, in relationships, or in moments of decision.
Because courage isn’t the absence of fear — it’s choosing to grow anyway.
