The Women Leadership Awards (WLA) is the longest-running international award in China dedicated to recognizing exceptional women leaders.

For over a decade, it was the only award of its kind!

Since 2016, the WLA has also honored men who actively support and champion women in leadership. Every year, the Awards celebrate leaders of different nationalities and industries in and around Shanghai.

On 8th November 2025, IPWS will mark the 18th anniversary of the Women Leadership Awards. Together with an independent jury, our distinguished finalists, IPWS supporters, and of course, the incredible IPWS community, we will come together to honor leadership excellence and celebrate this year’s theme: “Inspiring Courage.”
