Our mission is to help women become strong leaders all around the world. We do this by giving them the support and opportunities they need. Through mentoring, workshops and programs that build confidence, we are working towards a future where women are leaders everywhere, making the world a better place for everyone.

IPWS serves as a platform for those who champion the empowerment of professional women. We achieve this by organizing events and nurturing a diverse community. Through these initiatives, we create valuable networks, promote personal development, and foster professional growth.

In 2025 we hosted the 18th Women Leadership Awards, the longest running award ceremony of its kind in China
Celebrated our 30th Anniversary in 2024

Founded in 1993 as EPWS in Shanghai by 13 professional women, quickly growing to 80 members in the first year
