Women Leadership Awards

Welcome to the Women Leadership Awards 2017!

The Women Leadership Award (WLA) will be featured at the IPWS Leadership Summit on June 2nd, 2017 at The Place in Shanghai. WLA is the longest running international award in China for women leaders, and was the only such award for over a decade. The WLA recognises professional women who have emerged as leaders in their field. As leaders, these inspiring women (and since 2016, men supporting women) have made a marked difference in our community and have forged paths for others to follow.

We’re excited to invite you to celebrate this year’s Women Leadership Awards at the IPWS Leadership Summit 2017! Buy tickets HERE.

The WLA Process

Six independent Jury members using the established WLA Criteria Guidelines for each award category will review all nominations submitted for the Women Leadership Awards 2017. The Jury will participate throughout the entire selection process. Following the review of all nominations, the Jury will select two finalists for each WLA category. These finalists will be notified in early May, on a date to be determined.

In early May, the finalists will be required to represent themselves in front of the Jury for a short in-person session.  The Jury will select the recipient of each award category based on the nominees’ presentations, and their recognized accomplishments submitted beforehand through the nomination process.

The winners will be announced and recognized at the Women Leadership Awards ceremony to be featured at the IPWS Leadership Summit 2017.

It’s an exciting time for us at IPWS, and we’re so proud to present the Women Leadership Awards again this year. Stay tuned for more information about the WLA and IPWS Leadership Summit through our newsletter, website, and social media accounts.
