Tiziana Figliolia – IPWS Board Advisor
Sr. Vice President, Global Business Operations & Finance, PTC Inc.

Italian born, naturalized American, and a China resident for almost ten year, over her career, Tiziana held various Finance, Operations, and Strategy executive roles in start-ups and leading high tech companies. Tiziana currently works for PTC, a traded global provider of technology and solutions in the Internet of Things (IoT) space. At PTC she is the Sr. Vice President of Global Business Operations and Finance, she is the co-lead of the CFO Talent Development program, and she sponsors the Women ERG across Asia Pacific.

Prior to PTC, Tiziana worked for Autodesk where she held several leadership roles in the CFO and Sales organization across Europe, US, Asia and Worldwide Emerging Markets.

Passionate about the power of purposeful communities, and a strong advocate of gender equality and women empowerment, Tiziana is a speaker and advocate of these topics.

Tiziana served for four years as the President and Board Member of IPWS (International Professional Women Society), a non-profit organization that provides professional women with different platforms to connect, and foster personal and professional growth. IPWS has a community reach of more than 6000 people. She continues to be the curator of the IPWS Women Leadership Summit, and chair of the Women Leadership Awards. Now in its 12th year, the WLA is the longest running international award in China for women leaders, and was the only such award for over a decade.

Tiziana serves in the Scholarship Committee of the World Academy for the Future of Women, a leadership program for undergraduate students in rural China.

Tiziana holds an MBA from USC Marshall Business School in Los Angeles and a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Universita’ Cattolica in Milan, Italy.


Anne Louise Hyttel – IPWS Board Advisor

Danish of nationality, and based in Shanghai since 2013, Anne Louise Hyttel is Talent Development Lead APAC for DSM, a global science-based company active in health, nutrition and materials. She first joined DSM China in 2015 in a Project Manager role within their HR Transformation.

Before relocating to China, Anne Louise was a management consultant with PA Consulting Group, focusing on people initiatives covering Talent Management and Training & Development, as well as Strategy Implementation and Change Management. She has worked in numerous countries, including China, India, Singapore, Japan, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, Germany, France and the Nordics.

Anne Louise served on the IPWS Board of Directors 2013-2015, as Marketing and Partnership Chair respectively. She is passionate about exploring synergies and learnings between Western and Chinese women leaders, and led the event cooperation between Lean In Shanghai and IPWS during her board terms. She is also the organizer of IPWS’ topical breakfasts for senior executive women.


Amelia Chappelow – IPWS Marketing Committee Member

Amelia came to Shanghai in late 2014 and quickly adapted to the city’s vibrant arts & culture, especially enjoying the possibilities & networks. She is a freelance Media Consultant, dealing with digital strategy & social media and is extremely savvy with understanding audiences and creative content. Holding an Bachelor of Arts – Media & Communications (Honours) Degree from Melbourne’s Swinburne University of Technology & Royal Melbourne University of Technology, Amelia continued her passion with arts & culture and media creation, in radio and online.

A Senior Producer at the Australian Broadcasting Corporation in Sydney & Melbourne, Amelia worked across daily news, music & lifestyle programs while organising major broadcast events and researching audience & innovation strategy for close to 14 years.

In Shanghai, Amelia has held talks at the Shanghai International Comedy Festival & The Shanghai International Literary Festival, and has worked with many organisations as an independent International Media Consultant, while producing a video project about Pre-Wedding Photography. In 2016, she joined the IPWS Board and looks forward to working with women in Shanghai to help make strong working & personal connections.


Olivia Plotnick – IPWS Marketing Committee Member

Olivia moved to Shanghai in 2016 after spending several years in and out of China. She is the Marketing Manager for Brandigo, a global branding and marketing agency with offices in Shanghai, Manchester, UK and Boston, USA. Olivia is also the Marketing and Communications Manager for FitFam, a volunteer-led free fitness community founded in Shanghai in 2014. With a passion for content creation, and deep fascination of China’s digital landscape, Olivia has learned to manage WeChat accounts across different industries and create content aimed at increasing brand awareness in China.

Olivia has also helped to organize events as part of the TedxPuxi Engagement Team, and is an active member of the GGI (Girl Gone International) in Shanghai. She makes it a priority to attend as many marketing-focused events across Shanghai as she can, taking advantage of the incredible melting pot of knowledge and experience the Shanghai community has to offer.


Paula Mueller
National Member Relations Manager, European Union Chamber of Commerce in China

Paula Mueller is a progressive thinker with over 10 years working experience and an insatiable desire to learn more. She spent most of her professional life working in Europe, the USA and Asia.

Paula joined the European Chamber Team in early 2016 as the National Member Relations Manager, responsible for the membership department in nine cities across China. She is leading an international team of membership managers by mentoring and supporting them in achieving their targets and increasing the quality of services the European Union Chamber has to offer. One of her main responsibilities is also advising and connecting with top level of management from the Advisory Council group which is the backbone of the Chamber and consist of European world renowned companies operating in China.

The trainings she provides go beyond sales and marketing and include a deep understanding of the client’s needs and an analysis of their working environment.

Her previous experience as a General Manager in the automotive sector has gained her a vast understanding of the Chinese market conditions and the business culture.

Paula studied East Asian Studies with focus on China at Tubingen University in Germany and Beijing University in China, this acquiring her strong communication skills in Chinese language. After graduation she worked in Germany and USA, before moving to China in 2012 in order to set up a new branch for Thierry Company.

Paula speaks fluently five languages, is a passionate diver and reader; loves the Chinese culture and language and her goal is to travel 195 countries in this lifetime.


Susanna MA – Head of IPWS Volunteer Committee
CEO of ATHENA C&N

Susanna MA is committed to be a global citizen, supporting local and global communities by empowering women’s leadership. She is the CEO of ATHENA C&N, an organization helping leaders to reach their full potential in leadership through programs powered by the ATHENA Leadership ModelTM.

Beyond her professional work, Susanna has been deeply involved in a nonprofit leadership organization called World Academy for the Future of Women (WAFW) during the past 6 years and has become a fearless advocate for the empowerment of women and young generations. She also organizes community programs and events and supports non-profit organizations like International Professional Women’s Society (IPWS), Chi Fan for Charity (CFFC) and TEDxPuxi (formerly known as TEDxShanghaiWomen).

Susanna graduated from SIAS International University with a Bachelor Degree in Business Management in 2014. She joined the World Economic Forum Initiative Global Shapers Community Shanghai II Hub since 2016. She is an Alumni member of the International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP) sponsored by the U.S. Department of State, whose mission is to prepare the emerging global leaders with a better understanding of the culture and the work from the United States.
